Phase-Out of Itemized Deductions
2010

Most individual itemized deductions were reduced by all or some fraction of 3% of the excess of the taxpayer's adjusted gross income over a certain threshold, to a maximum of 80% of the itemized deductions. This phase-out does not apply in 2010.

Medical expenses, investment interest, and casualty, theft, and wagering losses are not subject to the phase out.
